East Edge is a University of Calgary campus revitalization project designed to ease overcrowding and improve livability. The concept reimagines campus life through thoughtful density, accessible public spaces, and a more connected pedestrian experience. Rooted in contemporary urban design, EAST EDGE blends functionality, community, and comfort to create a vibrant edge where campus meets city and where daily life is supported, simplified, and enriched.
It was created as a response to the overcrowding of student dorms, long, aging infrastructure, and a need for something fresh. Created with Group members Gris. G, Danielle S, Yogi F.
